Come to discover the hill of Montmartre and its narrow streets, to experience the spirit of the "old village" of Montmartre.
This district is now famous for the Place du Tertre, where the artists still gather today, and the white Sacré-Coeur Basilica on top of the hill. But originally, this small village was the place where a lot of artists lived in the 19th century, like Renoir, Van Gogh or Picasso.
Escape from the bustling city center of Paris, and learn all about the Moulin de la Galette, Amelie Poulain movie, and the Passe-Muraille story. Walking through the vineyards and the quiet gardens, you will feel this different atmosphere of Montmartre while strolling along the cobblestones streets.
Why do I love leading this tour in Montmartre?
"In Paris, Montmartre is well-known for the artists square and Sacré-Coeur Basilica, but what I like in Montmartre, is to lose myself in the secret alleys and gardens, looking for street art and nice viewpoints over Paris!"

To go up the hill, we can walk slowly while stopping and visiting the area, or we can use the funicular (cable car). The funicular costs 2,15 euros per person (or one metro ticket).
This tour involves a fair amount of walking. A lot of streets are paved with cobblestones, and since it is a hill, we will go up and down the streets, so this tour is not adapted for people with mobility issue.
